Job Description

Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Lead Manufacturing Support Associate for a  6-8 month + Contract to Hire role.  Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day!  You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.

 

Our client is a highly recognized Fortune 500 Medical Device organization looking for results driven professionals like you! This facility focuses on Class III electromechanical ALS & BLS devices used around the world. 

 

 

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

 

  • Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. 
  • Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process re-engineering. 
  • May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in "core skill" areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Six Sigma or Lean Training highly desired
  • QAD / SAP experience 
  • Advanced skill level required for Excel and Word. 
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Exhibits positive people skills, and a team approach to problem solving
  • Business System application knowledge in Sales Order management, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, ERP / MRP, and Procurement
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
