Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Lead Manufacturing Support Associate for a 6-8 month + Contract to Hire role. Our client is a highly recognized Fortune 500 Medical Device organization looking for results driven professionals like you! This facility focuses on Class III electromechanical ALS & BLS devices used around the world.
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process re-engineering.
- May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in "core skill" areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Six Sigma or Lean Training highly desired
- QAD / SAP experience
- Advanced skill level required for Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated planning, analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Exhibits positive people skills, and a team approach to problem solving
- Business System application knowledge in Sales Order management, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, ERP / MRP, and Procurement
- Effective written and oral communication skills
