Job Description
Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Engineering Technician for a 12 Month Contract. Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day! You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail-oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.
Develops programs, fixturing, and data for manufacturing pieces of equipment. Communicates with engineering team to complete and validate programs and fixtures in order to develop processes. Supports engineering in documentation drafting
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to engineers and scientists across a range of tasks.
- Developing and recommending methods and procedures to improve product and process quality.
- Preparing technical documentation and reports for internal records and compliance.
- Performing root cause analyses on technical issues or failures and recommending corrective actions.
- Developing programs and fixturing for manufacturing equipment.
- Communicating with engineering teams to validate and improve fixtures and programs.
- Supporting engineering in drafting and updating process and technical documentation.
- Collaborating across functions in support of product development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or laboratory environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary technical education is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Familiarity with tooling, fixturing, and basic programming for manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
