Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Engineering Technician for a 6 month + Contract. Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day! Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to engineers and scientists across a variety of technical tasks.
- Developing and recommending procedures, methods, and test protocols to improve efficiency and quality.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation to communicate results and findings.
- Performing technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintaining test equipment and laboratory facilities, including calibration and supply management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure testing and documentation meet regulatory and quality standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering technician role, preferably in a medical device or precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- Experience in wear testing or material characterization preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and equipment maintenance.
