Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their high-performing maintenance team on 3rd shift. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong electrical background and a passion for keeping operations running safely and efficiently. You'll work in a well-established manufacturing environment where your technical expertise is not only valued-but rewarded.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical or mechanical issues quickly and safely
- Execute routine and preventive maintenance on electrical components
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and code specifications to plan installations and repairs
- Upgrade or replace components in existing electrical systems as needed
- Calibrate and repair electrical-pneumatic control systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards
- Complete documentation and other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Technician or Electrical Apprentice in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or formal training strongly preferred
- Journeyman Electrician certification highly preferred
- Proficient with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Solid troubleshooting skills and experience with both routine and emergency repairs
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
