Position Summary
The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and completing customer projects, launches, and product changes. This individual will serve as a key liaison between customers, sales, engineering, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution across all phases of program development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary internal support contact for customer inquiries, requests, and escalations.
  • Coordinate project development activities and new product launches with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead program implementation through advanced planning, tooling, sampling, documentation, and submission processes.
  • Document design intent, customer expectations, procedures, and all methods required for transfer to manufacturing.
  • Develop scope of work for both internal teams and suppliers.
  • Initiate and route ECOs and maintain all program documentation and tracking tools.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, reporting updates to leadership as needed.
  • Build and maintain program timelines including internal and external milestones (design reviews, tooling, PRP gates, etc.).
  • Maintain customer APQP documents and ensure compliance with TS16949, APQP, AIAG, and internal quality processes.
  • Track, document, and manage all aspects of the PCR/ECN process.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer and internal program requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver phase-gate presentations to management.
  • Support continuous improvement, APQP, and VA/VE initiatives.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and progress to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is updated and relevant team members are notified of changes.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 3-10 years of Program Management experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification required.

Technical & Professional Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Plastic design knowledge and injection molding experience.
  • Blueprint / GD&T reading capability.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to interpret technical procedures and customer specifications.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and disciplined.

  • Open office and light industrial environment.
  • Air-conditioned workspace with occasional exposure to moderate noise, production areas, and machine shop environments.
