HYBRID Work Schedule,  Monday thru Wednesday onsite with Thursday and Friday remote.  

 

This is a highly specialized individual contributor role that requires deep expertise from a professional / technical thought leader in their respective field or discipline. This position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized field and an advanced college degree or equivalent experience. The individual in this role will create, update, and maintain product master data systems for the variant configurator to support implementation of variants and Bills of Material in the order to cash process. Modify, adapt and implement short- and long-term solutions to information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure to support material master data and the variant configurator. This includes data clean up in the ERP for Material Master attributes and Bill of Materials/attributes associated the variant configurator and review of systems requirements, business processes, codes, tests, debug, validation and implementing software solutions, procedure updates and creating new procedures/processes for the variant configurator, training individuals on usage of the variant configurator and supporting implementation of changes using the variant configurator tool.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure configurator data accuracy and compliance with regulations and is the Process Owner of the Configurator processes. 
  • Execute small process and technology projects to add/correct/update/maintain required attributes for production/configurator, regulatory (UDI, ACE, PMA, MDD etc.), and to product master data tables to support Order to Cash process 
  • Maintain accurate variant configurator logic for item master, product structure and questionnaire for existing and new configured products 
  • Generate accurate and consistent BOM structure while updating the variant configurator logic and rules to support domestic and international operations. 
  • Generate supporting data (routings, UPNs, regulatory item master attributes for UDI, ACE, PMA, MDD, IEC) to ensure that configured products are both realized in Production and processed effectively in the broader Order to Cash process. 
  • Analyze, define, and develop documentation control methodologies to support Configurator
  • Submit requests to the Material Data Management team for setup of variants in the Commercial ERP. 
  • Run test protocols for IT projects related to configurator and master data
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Systems, or Information Management is preferred 
  • 1-3 years of related experience in a business environment 
  • Experience implementing/configuring ERP systems 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Lean process development
  • Proficient in task management, including prioritization skills 
  • Good problem-solving skills 
  • Communication skills (written as well as verbal)
  • Self-motivated, organized, efficient, and process-oriented 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Works well under pressure in a dynamic environment 
  • Tactful, exercises independent judgment and discretion
  • Professional presentation and strong interpersonal communications skills
