ERP Data ETL Specialist - Virtual

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

• This role will align to business process areas to support the data conversion and readiness activities to prepare for the ERP systems deployment/go live.
• Support data cleansing (correction in legacy system) and data construction (the collection of 'new' data) 
• Support data validation activities 
• Monitors and responds to Data Readiness Reports 
• Participates in Cutovers and DLs responding to 'Tap'emails. 
• Partner with program on data load templates to ensure readiness. 
• Work with the team to capture test data sets required for proper testing scenarios. 
• Support testing efforts as needed. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs including excel is required as well as the ability to create formulas to support data analysis. MUST KNOW EXCEL POWER QUERY.

Requirements

Must be able to show experience in past roles in the following;

• Excel Power Query
• Data Transformation: Ability to clean, transform, and reshape data from various sources. 
• Query Development: Proficiency in creating complex queries using the Power Query editor. 
• Data Importing: Experience in importing data from multiple sources (Excel files, CSVs, databases, web services). 
• Advanced Excel Skills:
• Formulas and Functions: Strong understanding of advanced Excel formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.). 
• PivotTables and PivotCharts: Ability to create and manipulate PivotTables and PivotCharts for data analysis.
• Conditional Formatting: Knowledge of applying conditional formatting to highlight key data points. 
• Data Analysis:
• Statistical Analysis: Basic understanding of statistical methods and their application in Excel. 
• Data Visualization: Skills in creating charts and graphs to visualize data insights effectively. 
• Power BI (optional but beneficial):
• Integration with Power Query: Familiarity with Power BI for more advanced data modeling and reporting.
• Report Development: Ability to create interactive dashboards and reports. 
• Scripting and Automation:VBA (Visual Basic for Applications):
• Proficiency in writing VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks.
• M Language: Understanding of the M language for advanced data transformations in Power Query. 
• Database Skills:
• SQL Knowledge:  Basic SQL skills to query databases and extract necessary data.
• Data Connectivity: Experience with connecting Excel to external databases and data sources.
