EHS Manager

Job Description
- Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide leadership and direction to EHS team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the development of corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and projects.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation.
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and proactively implement necessary updates to EHS programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS management in a manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of UBC, UFC, NEC and ADA regulations / codes.
- Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO13485 and ISO14971 Risk Assessment preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
