Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturing company committed to excellence in the medical device manufacturing industry.  We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our clients team for direct hire. As an EHS Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for our clients employees while upholding the highest industry standards.

This position involves:
  • Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership and direction to EHS team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the development of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and proactively implement necessary updates to EHS programs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in EHS management in a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of UBC, UFC, NEC and ADA regulations / codes.
  • Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO13485 and ISO14971 Risk Assessment preferred 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
