Our client, a leader in the field of automation and robotics, is actively seeking an experienced Automation Project Manager to lead continuous improvement projects in a state-of-the-art, automated Tier 1 environment. This role is crucial for integrating advanced automation systems, including robotics, conveyors, and custom machine building solutions, to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage and execute automation projects, focusing on the integration of robotics and conveyor systems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying expertise in automation and machine building to optimize processes.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in automation and robotics to drive project ownership and success.
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams, including maintenance and production, to ensure the seamless implementation of automation solutions.
- Utilize Lean methodologies to enhance the efficiency of automated systems, including robotics and conveyors.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with automation goals and standards.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Solid background in project management within an automated, industrial setting, particularly involving robotics and conveyor systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a deep understanding of automation and machine building principles.
- Proven experience in applying Lean methodologies within an automation context.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams in a high-energy environment.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience in managing automation projects, particularly those involving robotics, conveyors, and custom machine building.
- Ability to handle complex, multi-faceted automation projects effectively.
