Job Description

Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan's 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of Customer Service Representative with focus on Financial Close Out for a 12 Month + Contract opportunity.

 

DUTIES: 

 

  • Customer Service Representative responds to customer inquiries by telephone or e-mail to provide non-technical problem resolution. 
  • Resolves mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicates solution or requested information to the customer.
  • Being a Customer Service Representative analyze a customer's service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed. 
  • May utilize a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information. 
  • Additionally, Customer Service Representative II requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. 
  • Typically reports to Customer Service Manager. 
  • The Customer Service Representative gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
  • Works under moderate supervision. 

Job Requirements

SKILLS: 

 

  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Microsoft Suite experience preferred
  • High School diploma - minimum education requirement
  • Will be trained in SAP but SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to use different computer applications to research and problem solve. 

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
