Corporate Communications Manager (Legal & Compliance)
Portage, MI 49002 US | Fully Remote TELECOMMUTE US
Job Description
Develop and execute communication strategies for business leaders in our Legal & Compliance (including Global Security) and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Consult with business teams and leaders to develop and implement strategic communication plans to support various businesses initiatives and changes
- Create communication materials for the aforementioned plans, which may include writing, review/editing, video production, information gathering, live event production, speaker notes, graphics, etc.
- Manage functional communication channels (e.g. department calls, newsletters, Connect pages, Viva Engage groups, etc.) and leverage other channels as appropriate.
- Provide support to Sr. Manager on organizational change initiatives, to include drafting FAQs, talking points, organizational announcements, etc.
- Support functional meetings and event content which may include driving/managing content, video creation, meeting collateral, etc.
- Ensure communications are in alignment with the company's strategies, goals objectives and brand.
- Ensure internal/external materials are appropriately reviewed and approved according to approval processes in place.
- Other communication activities as directed/needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English, communications, marketing or related field is preferred.
- 5 years work experience in communications, marketing and/or branding area preferred
- Ability to communicate with and understand business needs and articulate those needs in a strategy and plan
- Problem solver with creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issues
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to analyze and measure success
- Execution-oriented, self-starter and self-navigator who can prioritize high-value projects versus tasks in a fast-paced environment and balance demands of multiple projects
- Very responsive, with a customer-centric / solutions-oriented approach and the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels
- Experience working in a decentralized environment is a plus
- Previous experience in healthcare-related field is a plus
- Previous experience in Finance is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is very strongly preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tailor communications style to audience
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills,
- Strong attention to detail a must
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
