Job Description
Our client, a manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team!
Position will involve:
- Developing new machine controls such as robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, vision and pneumatic systems.
- Modifying and updating control systems , robotic programs, motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and more
- PLC programming
- Performing backups for electronic machine controls and robotic programs
- Collecting data from shop floor processing equipment and automation
- Maintaining machine control to ethernet gateways and connections
- Updating controls to machine standards
Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience with Vision systems, PLC & HMI programming
- Strong robotics experience with electrical controls expertise

Contract positions
