Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team!

Position will involve:
  • Developing new machine controls such as robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, vision and pneumatic systems.
  • Modifying and updating control systems , robotic programs, motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and more
  • PLC programming
  • Performing backups for electronic machine controls and robotic programs
  • Collecting data from shop floor processing equipment and automation
  • Maintaining machine control to ethernet gateways and connections
  • Updating controls to machine standards

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with Vision systems, PLC & HMI programming
  • Strong robotics experience with electrical controls expertise

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
