Commercial Sales Project Manager (CPG)

Job Description
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in managing complex projects, serving as the voice of customers and field sales, and driving cross-functional initiatives that align Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and Sales teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on strategic project management, data-driven business insights, and collaborative execution within the dynamic consumer goods space.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Product Work Requests (PWR), ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project inputs and deliverables (~43 projects annually).
- Serve as the customer advocate, representing customer and field sales perspectives to shape strategies and programs that deliver best-in-class results.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships, aligning diverse business units to drive cohesive commercial strategies.
- Track, analyze, and interpret business and competitive data, providing strategic and tactical recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of prior experience in commercial strategy, customer marketing, sales strategy, sales planning, field sales, or complex cross-functional project work.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience interpreting Nielsen Data and market research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as TPM.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
Preferences:
- Background in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is highly desirable.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
