This Consulting role is for an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer who has current experience with Citrix to participate in a long-term Data Center consolidation project.
100% Remote role (with limited on-site visits on an as-needed basis)
The length of this contract is set for 1 year.
Equipment provided (VDI at first).
Under minimal supervision, works with customer specifications and budgets to implement both critical and non-critical systems that are part of an enterprise-class technology infrastructure supporting up to 60,000 users/devices at dozens of locations.
Participates in project planning and execution, related to system architecture, design, integration, testing, and implementation.
Participates in the operational support for assigned systems, including the creation of written support documentation, and facilitates knowledge transfer between teams and individuals involved in support.
Participates in the creation of relevant technical and support documentation.
Utilizes knowledge of end-user devices and integration with equipment, networking concepts (such as TCP\IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP), Windows Server and Desktop platforms, Enterprise Directories, storage subsystems, and relational databases.
