Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the firearm industry, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their production team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-precision, quality-driven environment. You'll play a critical role in manufacturing firearm components to exacting specifications using CNC machines in a safety-conscious, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine precision components used in firearm manufacturing
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Perform machine setups and tool changes as needed
- Monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure product quality
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to specs
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any malfunctions
- Follow all shop safety protocols and work in compliance with firearm industry regulations
- Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and using precision measuring tools
- Knowledge of tolerances, feeds, and speeds for various materials (especially metals)
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
