Job Description

CNC Machinist/Programmer
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer looking to bring your expertise to a dynamic and innovative company? Our client is seeking a talented individual proficient in AutoCam programming to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-precision components. If you are passionate about machining, programming, and continuous improvement, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using AutoCam software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer.
  • Proficiency in AutoCam programming software.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC machine operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques for quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
