Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a CAD/CAM Programmer for a 12 month + Contract. ONSITE ROLE!
The experienced CAD/CAM Programmer will be responsible for creating/maintaining CNC machining programs providing the proper levels of floor support for program introduction, productivity optimization, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Use SURFCAM to develop CNC programming using CAD data.
- Responsible for defining, designing, ordering, reviewing, and implementing all tooling associated with the manufacturing of parts on specified CNC machinery.
- Assisting Manufacturing Engineers in the creation of the most efficient manufacturing routing / outlines for the manufacturing of parts utilization of CNC machinery.
- Utilizing SolidWorks to create assemblies from imported scanned files.
- Aligning components in the assembly with well-defined coincident and angular constrains.
- Creating indentation on one of the solid component parts using the "indent" tool.
- Supporting and providing assistance, as required, for various special projects.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3D CAD Modeling utilizing SolidWorks experience.
- Regulated industry experience and CGMP strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Scanners such as 3D Peel, Keyence, or other similar data acquisition cameras.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing environment.
