Business Intelligence Analyst

Focus: Lead for Gathering Business Requirements for the design and build of reports, dashboards and Data Warehouse queries. Main tools are SAP BOBJ and Business Object Crystal Reports

Located in Central Northern Indiana South of the Michigan Border

Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst located in their World HQ s. This position is responsible for implementing and supporting business intelligence systems such as SAP Business Objects and SAP Business Warehouse. This includes functional analysis and technical implementation of end-user tools, dashboards, reports, queries, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze requests for business intelligence tools and support i.E. SAP ERP, SAP BW, and SAP Business Objects.
Design and build Business Object Crystal reports, dashboards, and SAP Business Warehouse queries. Develop extraction transformation and load (ETL) logic.
Implement data analysis solutions for diverse set of business users.
Serve as team member on various projects, assisting in gathering requirements and building out reporting for business intelligence needs.
Promote change through strong communication, team building and leadership.
Train the organization in utilizing business intelligence best practices and tools.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor s degree in business information systems with focus in functional business area, statistics, economics, math or similar.
1 3 year(s) experience participating on project teams, gathering requirements, building and testing analytics solutions.
4 6 years experience with information systems, focused on analyzing data and constructing models to answer business questions. It is preferred that the experience was focused on SAP products including SAP BW, or SAP Business Objects.

Robust understanding of how analytics can deliver business intelligence solutions
Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and analytical skills

Demonstrated ownership of improving analytics capabilities within the organization.
Experience working in a high-availability environment, providing 24x7 service.
