Job Description

Our client, a small, family-owned CPA firm in North Saint Johns, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to join their team as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, especially during tax season, and appreciates a more relaxed schedule during the off-season. If you're looking to start immediately and want a position where you can contribute meaningfully to a growing firm, this might be the perfect fit for you.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain office operations and procedures.
  • Assist with tax preparation during the busy season.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Utilize Word and Excel for various office tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 55-60 hours per week from late January through April.
  • Ability to work 4 days per week from May through December.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
