Job Description

- Work collaboratively with the finance team to analyze and interpret financial data, focusing on our state-of-the-art facility.
- Provide crucial financial support and reporting for the facility in Hazleton PA, alongside direct support to the Corporate Controller.
- Drive improvements by developing and implementing new accounting and internal control processes, with a keen focus on operations, inventory management, and capital expenditure analysis.
- Take ownership of the month-end close process, including detailed reconciliations and analyses, particularly focusing on inventory and construction in progress.
- Apply cost accounting principles to deliver insightful financial analysis to operational management, aiding in strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operational teams to align financial strategies with business objectives, aiming to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Participate in the financial planning and budgeting processes, including the preparation of annual budgets.
- This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller and offers significant exposure to the company's leadership. It provides a direct line of communication with management for professional growth and mentorship. The position also involves close collaboration with the Vice President of Operations at the Hazleton PA facility, highlighting its importance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting or a manufacturing
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven ability to connect operational activities to financial results.
- A proactive approach to taking on new responsibilities in a growth-focused environment is essential.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
