For the Retail Operations Center: Provides Asset Protection support and expertise to Asset Protection field teams and store leadership through the use of camera technology, fraud mitigation, and functional job knowledge. Provides a centralized and continuous resource for concerns involving safety, internal and external security, and stockloss reduction/deterrence. Maintains and communicates the Asset Protection priorities of Life Safety, Civil Liability & Property Loss when assisting stores with concerns. Communicates and escalates situations to appropriate Asset Protection leadership as necessary. Maintains and updates various Asset Protection systems and databases for accurate retrieval of information.
MS Office Competency (OneNote, Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) - Adequate
Understanding and operating camera/ video surveillance system technology - Adequate
Understanding of fire and burglary alarm systems in retail setting - Marginal
Professional writing and verbal communication competency - Adequate

Understanding of asset protection / loss prevention practices
Asset Protection, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or closely related experience - especially in a retail setting.
Common knowledge of investigative practices and case management
Basic understanding of investigative practices and case management in any asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement setting
Critical incident response; Emergency management; Workplace safety
Experience with - or sufficiently developed knowledge of - handling critical incidents such as; life safety situations, criminal activity, threats of violence or workplace violence, severe weather/natural disasters, hazmat spills, etc.
