Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Provides administrative support to a department or individual. Duties may include word processing, filing, faxing, answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and sorting/distributing mail. May work on special projects. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize. Strong communication skills and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with MS Office required.
Requires experience with systems such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally travel booking systems.
Experience in meeting planning and calendar management.
The position also will involve some administration of claims, including securing medical records and interacting with consultants. So good communication and interpersonal skill and ability to prepare cogent, articulate correspondence.
Good organizational skills as this role will deal with a high volume of matters.
Partially outward-facing position, so ability to interact favorably with others in the department, including assistants for senior leaders.
Must posses and be very detail oriented
Associates degree desired in Business Administration
Expert level administrative assistant experience desired.
