Job Description

Actuarial Data Analyst (All Levels:  Entry Level thru Senior)

Ability to work with customer constituents to review, test and validate data collection. Maintain data reporting requirements and financial data calls. Participate in data requests. implementations, and client calls as needed.  Generate automate data testing, reporting and verification as needed.

Job Requirements


Responsibilities:
Data collection and validation.  Maintain and test basic and actuarial edits.  Validate data for internal consistency
Investigate causes of unusual values and follow up with carriers for a prompt resolution
Ability to create, document and analyze data models.
Ability to replicate an established database schema
Create code and analysis scripts in SQL and Excel.
Update and validate loss experience exhibits.
SQL Programming and Reporting.

Technical Understanding:
Transact-SQL, SSRS 
MS-Excel or related analytic software
Data Warehouse design, structures, processing, and reporting.  Additionally tuning or other DBA tasks.
ETL 
BI Software

Background: 
Bachelor's degree
1 to 6 years experience 
Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.

 

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
