Finance Manager - SAP Integration
Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager – SAP Integration for a 9 month + Contract. Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of various financial responsibilities. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team and direct manager. This role will play a critical part in the integration of our new ERP system (SAP) which will go-live in May 2026 and support the various business units and teams within finance with this integration.
Responsibilities
- The individual will closely partner with business units, Inventory Center of Excellence, and the SAP integration team to proactively identify potential concerns and troubleshoot issues related to SAP implementation.
- This person is expected to serve as the primary point of contact for SAP-related financial challenges and operate with a high level of independence.
- This is a management-level role that achieves results through influence and cross-functional leadership rather than direct reports.
- The position requires comprehensive understanding of finance principles and the ability to apply broader business knowledge to resolve issues impacting multiple functional areas.
- A strong technical and systems background is required, along with the ability to think strategically and anticipate future impacts.
- Inventory experience is highly important, particularly regarding P&L and Balance Sheet impacts of inventory movement.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong technical finance skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables required)
- Strong SAP experience
- Strong communication, customer service, and analytical skills
- Ability to foresee future impacts and drive resolution
- Systems integration experience
- ERP integration experience (SAP go-live support highly preferred)
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant finance experience
- Experience supporting ERP implementations
- Inventory finance experience
- Cross-functional leadership experience in large organizations
