Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and enhance the accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reconciliations for balance sheet and expense accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Efficiently allocate expenses across different entities and departments, supporting budget adherence and financial planning.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash records and facilitate financial oversight.
  • Assist in the monthly and yearly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Resolve discrepancies and accounting issues, enhancing the integrity of financial data.
  • Support journal entry preparation and account analysis to ensure records reflect the true financial position.
  • Maintain organized work files and documents, ensuring audit readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with outside auditors and accountants, providing necessary information and support for external audits.
  • Contribute to year-end tax filings and compliance, as needed, to uphold regulatory requirements.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, including the filing of quarterly Federal and State Payroll Taxes.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Proficiency in general ledger software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks daily.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service orientation.
Preferences:
  • Experience with internal and external audit processes.
  • Knowledge of tax filing and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • A proactive approach to technical accounting research and continuous improvement in financial processes.
