Summary



Successful, family-owned business serving the fresh produce industry seeks a skilled Account Manager.   This position is ideal for a positive, highly-motivated candidate looking to join a growing, customer-focused team.   The successful candidate will be providing support for major accounts as well as a high level of data and project support for the sales team.   The account manager is responsible for taking orders in a variety of formats and processing with precision and accuracy.   This role requires interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, integrity, flexibility, and eagerness to provide excellent customer care.   In return, the candidate will receive competitive compensation, health and dental benefits, PTO, and matching 401k.



Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requests quickly, efficiently, and accurately

  • Support sales through information, quotes, and communication

  • Keep customers informed on order and delivery status

  • Schedule work orders, deliveries, and special projects

  • Order entry in a fast-paced environment

  • Process returns and resolve customer issues

  • Manage Transaction Flow

  • Collaborate to quickly resolve issues

  • Contribute positively to office culture

  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and respect to customers and colleagues  





Requirements

  • 3+ Years of successful direct customer experience

  • University or college coursework preferred

  • High level of data comfort and proficiency

  • High proficiency in Excel

  • Professionalism, integrity, and positive attitude

  • Willingness to take on new challenges

  • Successful and positive track record with coworkers

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Exceptional listening and verbal communication skills

  • Strong written communication skills
