Job Description

Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a 1st Shift Material Coordinator for a 6 month + Contract role.  Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day!  You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.

 

Work Scheduled will be Monday thru Friday  7:30am - 4pm 

 

The Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of materials throughout the supply chain. This includes organizing and tracking materials required for production or operational activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled in communication and time management.

 

 

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

 

  • Coordinate the movement of materials between departments, storage areas, and production lines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing, warehouse, production, and planning teams to ensure material availability.
  • Identify and report material shortages or discrepancies and assist in resolving them promptly.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in material handling and inventory processes.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures related to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • May provide guidance to lower-level material handlers. 
  • This job typically requires a minimum of 2 or more years experience.
