Job Description

  • Support manufacturing software systems related to MES (manufacturing execution systems) including data collection, reporting, and related systems.
  • Maintain and develop software for web, desktop, and database applications.
  • Work with a variety of departments to create custom applications, per user requirements.
  • Provide Application Support working directly with business customers.
  • Participate fully in a team-focused environment and actively contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills in an environment that is striving for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Experience -

  • Ability to work on-site in Lansing, Michigan (This is NOT a remote position)
  • 2+ years Software Development experience
  • Technical background including (as many as possible) .NET, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Visual Basic, ASP, HTML, JavaScript, SQL
  • MS SQL Server database design and development
  • Manufacturing systems support, custom programming, and implementation experience
  • Automotive Sequencing, MES systems experience is required
  • SoliDat MES systems experience is considered a strong nice to have
  • Experience with industrial-class printers and the use of barcode scanners in a production environment, a plus

Education
  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred 

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
