Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for an Quality Technician for a 18 month + Contract opportunity. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Performing incoming inspection per inspection plan requirements.
- Performing the acceptance of finished devices as the final quality release.
- Prioritizing multiple product lines of varying speeds and volumes to ensure a steady flow of released material.
- Identifying, documenting, segregating, evaluating, & disposition non-conforming material
- Obtaining Return Material Authorization (RMA) and shipping material to suppliers.
- Maintaining physical inventory and performing electronic transactions in the ERP System to account for material shipments and supplier credits/rework.
- Maintaining compliance in a highly regulated environment for Class III medical devices following good documentation practices (GDP).
- Identifying and leading opportunities for improvement to improve organizational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience (Inspection, material handling/coordinating, MRB, procurement).
- Procurement experience.
- Experience in ERP systems.
- Experience in advance inspection of incoming materials.
- Intermediate PC Skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel,Outlook).
