Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company in the Holland/Zeeland area, is actively looking for an EHS Manager to join their team!
Hybrid flexibility available!
Relocation assistance is available for out of area candidates!
 
 
Position Summary:
The EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing the company's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining programs that promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of 2
  • Develop, implement and maintain the company's EHS programs and policies
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to EHS
  • Lead the development and implementation of safety and environmental management systems
  • Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and inspections
  • Develop and deliver safety and environmental training programs
  • Investigate and report on accidents and incidents
  • Identify and evaluate potential safety and environmental risks and develop plans to mitigate them
  • Provide guidance and support to plant management on all EHS matters
  • Work closely with the management team to integrate EHS into all aspects of the business

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in an environmental health and safety position
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
