Driver Recruiter
Job Description
Driver Recruiter will lead full cycle driver recruiting efforts, which include:
- Evaluating resumes
- Prescreening applicants
- Scheduling
- Interviewing
- Assessing
- Evaluating skills
- Provide input on positions for posting
- Orientation of new hires
- Recruiter must work in various platforms such as Tenstreet, Excel and Word.
- Recruiter must have a collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.
- A recruiter is result oriented with the ability to effectively manage deadlines.

As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to the Corporate Recruiters and the hiring process.
Duties Include
- Performs phone screens, sets interviews, answers applicant questions and overcomes objections, and markets positions to qualified candidates.
- Sources candidates via resume searches, cold calling, and referrals and submits candidates into applicant tracking system database.
- Assists with posting online recruitment ads.
- Assists recruiters with ordering pre-employment reports.
- Processes internal candidates for the Dock-to-Driver Training program.
- Tracks recruitment incentives and ads.
- Acts as a first point of contact for driver applicants by taking incoming applicant calls during recruitment campaigns and making calls on leads for driver candidates.
- Creates recruitment flyers and posters and mails to field locations.
- Assists recruiters with scheduling job fairs, and coordinates mailing of recruitment promotional items, displays, flyers and other job fair materials as needed.
- Ensures all materials are returned as needed and are in good working order. Assists recruiters with other administrative support duties, such as ordering background checks, following up on candidate status, setting interviews, obtaining hiring manager interview schedules, scanning completed reports into imaging, follow up on pre-placement testing, etc.
- Provides weekly and ad hoc reporting on applicant information.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in Business, HR, Transportation or related or equivalent exp.
- 2+ years of experience in human resources or business
- 1+ year of recruiting support experience
- Excellent phone communications skills: clear/personable/enthusiastic
- Knowledge of Dept. of Transportation regulations
- Strong organization skills with proven ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
