Responsibilities:
*    Develop and implement strategic plans for materials management and logistics, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives
*    Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, and transportation
*    Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to establish strong relationships and ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
*    Monitor and analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs
*    Implement effective inventory management techniques, such as ABC analysis, JIT, and EOQ, to achieve optimal inventory turnover
*    Lead a team of materials and logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and high performance
*    Oversee the implementation and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations and enhance inventory accuracy
*    Evaluate and select logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor their performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality
*    Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency within the materials and logistics functions



Job Requirements

Qualifications:
*    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
*    Minimum of 7 years of experience in materials management and logistics, preferably within the automotive industry
*    Solid knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and logistics best practices
*    Proven experience in managing and leading teams, fostering collaboration, and driving operational excellence
*    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement process improvements
*    Proficient in using supply chain management software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools
*    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Preferences:
*    Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
*    Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
*    Experience with international logistics, including customs regulations and trade compliance
*    Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
*    Proficiency in a second language, such as Spanish, German, or Mandarin
