Technical Administrative Specialist
Michigan, Saginaw-Bay City-Midla
Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan s 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of Technical Administrative Specialist.
Timesheet review, analysis, interpretations, and adjustments for employees.
Cascade Database knowledge and entries create manual MX orders, run reports, data entry.
Assist in scheduling HVD and LVD work in coordination with the supervisor.
Meeting notes from DOR and other miscellaneous meetings.
Maintain new and existing files which can include updating engineering prints, filing setting sheets, basic schematic clarifications.
Maintain/update relay maintenance database and coordinate with Department Engineering.
Compile and prepare spreadsheets, reports, schedules, lists, and manual updates.
Maintain equipment calibration records, shipping, and delivery.
Order office supplies, forms, miscellaneous stock and small equipment.
Telephone duties - including question resolution, judgment and decision-making issues.
Maintain/Assist with departmental and/or supervisory e-mails.
Coordinate associated work affiliated with various headquarters and departments. (Dispatch, Automotive, Facilities, Engineering, HR, IS&T, etc.)
Coordinate meeting needs, employee anniversary and retirement recognitions.
Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Miscellaneous special projects.
Periodically evaluates process and program effectiveness and takes action to maintain continuous improvement.
Follows all safety rules and procedures and contributes to the safety of co-workers and the general public.
Ability to interact with internal and external clients to receive information and data.
Knowledge and/or experience in department practices and procedures.
Ability to solve a range of basic problems
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of database concepts
Working experience with Cascade is a plus
Basic electrical schematic knowledge
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of applicable experience and a High School diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access, OneNote, and SharePoint
