Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

Under the general supervision of a program manager is responsible for leading and directing of projects. Responsibility for all aspects of the project from initiation to completion.

Must be able to analyze and correct process and/or system issues using independent judgment. Excellent interpersonal communication and collaborative teamwork skills. Ability to generate and explain detailed schedules and performance objectives. Demonstrated experience in presenting to mid-level management.

Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately. Utilize proper software to maintain project records, such as a PPM system, MS Office, SharePoint, or Visio. 2+ years demonstrated project management experience in at least one discipline (Finance, Procurement, IT, R&D, Ops, etc.) or relevant experience.

Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
Develop, manage, and implement appropriate meeting schedule and cadence for Divisional or Workstream meetings, as well as writing agendas and meeting minutes for each meeting attended.
Support in the development, management, organization, and coordination of face-to-face meetings and events.
Assist with communication as needed, including presentation creation.
Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plans, in order to align the stakeholders and team members. Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring and closure of project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized changes to facilitate customer acceptance.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
Develop, manage, and implement SharePoint site and ensure materials are accessible and organized. Manage and implement various tracking tools.
Bachelor s Degree and PMP/PMI or Professional Project Certification Required
