Sr. Project Control Analyst
Company provides cybersecurity, intelligence, communications, networking and information technology services, systems, and solutions to DOD and other government agencies.
Project Control Analysts are responsible for all aspects of overall planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and levels of risk, while complying with financial policies & procedures for all programs and projects.
Provide cost control analysis support to the Program/Project/Task Managers, while constantly interacting with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Contracts personnel and other Finance Departments within the organizations.
Conducts audits and analysis of their organization s direct and indirect costs, and reviews their practices and procedures, ensuring that labor and non-labor charges are approved, allowable, and processed in a timely manner.
Participate in the financial forecast, commitments, and expenditures while maintaining cost/schedule baselines and develop/maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) & related cost analyses.
Support all related financial policies, supporting all invoicing requirements, performing risk management, performing projection analyses of cash flow & profitability for the program, completion of all internal and external contract/program financial deliverables, supporting IPRs, supporting proposal & BOE inputs & reviews, supporting all internal/external audit requirements.
The PCAs will contribute to the team through statistical reporting, analyzing, estimating, and auditing.
Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances and provides data & reporting formats for various types and levels of program reviews.
Capabilities include proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power-Point, MS Access, and MS Project.
Ensures adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all Corporate policies and procedures as they relate to contract financials.
Demonstrated capability to forecast, identify variances from a project plan / pricing, provide first-level financial analysis to a PM, and take proactive steps to manage project Cost/Schedule/Performance.
Understanding of the different contract types, i.E. CPFF, FP, T&M
Demonstrated experience in reconciling invoices, weekly financial status reports, and monthly close-out documents.
Must be skilled in Microsoft Business Suite, particularly using advanced Excel capabilities and functions such as macros, lookups, pivot tables, and dynamic charts and graphs.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Deltek Costpoint is imperative.
Demonstrated understanding of account receivable, accounts payable, and payroll applications.
Able to maintain all project financials in a compliant manner according to company policy and procedures.
Performance tracking and generation of ETC/EAC calculations
Experience building, reviewing and executing critical path analysis
Processes, tools, and reports development
Bachelor' s Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent and three (3) years or more of related experience in the Intelligence Community. In lieu of a degree, each year of direct-related work experience can be accepted as 1 year of education toward a degree.
