Revenue Recognition Accountant/Analyst
The Senior Revenue Accountant/Analyst is responsible for the accuracy of invoicing, revenue allocation and proper revenue recognition in accordance with VSOE/BESP and current accounting literature. This position is also responsible for ensuring that any inconsistencies with the implementation forecast and deferred revenue reconciliation are reviewed and addressed in a timely manner to ensure proper revenue recognition. The Senior Revenue Analyst will also assist with the implementation of ASC 606, as well as any other process changes due to new accounting literature.
: Review quote calculators to support executed customer agreements, as well as appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with current accounting literature and record related sales orders in NetSuite.
: Prepare the monthly back order reconciliation and provide timely resolution to reconciling items.
: Review the monthly implementation forecast to evaluate any necessary adjustments to revenue and confirmation of accepted but unrecognized products.
: Prepare the monthly deferred revenue account reconciliation, as well as the quarterly deferred revenue reporting package, and identify any inconsistencies with expectations.
: Prepare and evaluate the quarterly and annual VSOE and Best Estimate Selling Price (BESP) analyses.
: Prepare monthly reconciliations of invoicing and revenue recognition in OpenAir and NetSuite and provide timely resolution
: Assist with the implementation of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers, and on-going compliance.
: Review the Revenue Recognition and Order to Cash process documents and ensure compliance.
: Develop a strong working relationship with and liaise with the Company' s external auditors on revenue related requests.
: Recommend new processes and procedures that utilize technology, build efficiencies and streamline workflows.
: Assist with special projects on an as needed basis, including system integration and process improvements.

: Bachelor' s in Accounting
: 2+ years' experience in public accounting
: 2+ years in an accounting role
: Demonstrable knowledge and application of multiple element and software revenue recognition guidance, including ASC 606, ASC 605-25 and ASC 985-605, a plus
