Labor quoting of printed circuit boards, box builds & military cable and harness assemblies.
Interpret assembly drawings, cable/harness schematics and customer supplied B.O.M s to determine labor steps needed for assembly.
Perform on line research and recommend alternate materials for BOM items that are end of life or obsolete.
Determine tooling required for all assemblies quoted.
Enter work center and labor operation codes within an ERP system.
Create and update spreadsheets as required.
Perform, with limited supervision and in compliance with procedures, all assigned quoting operations.
Create operation codes and assign labor times for special or unique operations.
Read and comprehend necessary military documents and demonstrate the ability in the normal course of executing job requirements.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Ability to interact, work effectively with others at different levels of the organization and be a participative team member.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, while remaining focused and carrying out tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Organized, detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy where this individual will come in contact with complex and sensitive documents.
Skills & Qualification requirements
Ability to calculate labor time for non-standard or special requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Knowledge of the following military documents; MIL-HBK, MIL-SPEC, MIL-STD, MIL-PRF and MIL-DTL.
Knowledge of ITAR requirements.
Knowledge of potting/casting connectors.
Ability to read, write and understand drawings and work instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
