Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector for a 12 Month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

Supports and assists in the design, development, production, testing, operation and maintenance of components and equipment. Prepares detailed drawings and layouts and conduct materials testing. Performs equipment maintenance, calibration, mechanical and electrical repairs, adjustments and monitoring of products under development. Experienced with complex instruments, testing equipment and gauges. May test models, write reports, identify problems and suggest solutions.

Will be primarily supporting the qualification activities for components used in the manufacture of medical devices.
Bachelor s degree preferred, but right candidate may not have a degree.

o 2. Communications. Will be speaking with engineers and suppliers and so must be able to communicate complex ideas to a diverse audience.
o 3. Quick learner. The right candidate will be able to quickly grasp complex processes, and be able to follow written and verbal instructions to accomplish a specific end.
o 1. Analytical thinking/problem solving. Both alone and as part of a group.
o 2. Quality mindset. Ability to make judgments on information given and provide specific feedback as to opportunities for improvement.
o 3. Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Office)
o 4.PPAP experience

Populate Excel workbooks with information from prints, specifications, and other technical sources.
Maintain workbooks for other work in progress.
Manage the approval of documents in the onePLM document management system.
Work with suppliers providing them the workbooks and then tracking their completion.
Working with SME s to get the documents reviewed and approved in a timely fashion.
Our client is looking for recent college grads with some background in quality. Doesn t have to be an engineering degree. Sharp candidates who want to learn more about quality while helping them with the grunt work (paperwork)
