QA Failure Investigator

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Defines and implements quality control processes to measure product or service compliance to design specifications. Creates and conducts sampling and testing procedures. Identifies root causes for defects and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Understands and uses statistical process control techniques. Prepares documentation of findings and recommendations. Develops new processes and tools as needed in order to improve testing execution and impact.
Conduct Complaint follow-up and investigation in a timely fashion
Communicate with Customers, Field Service Technicians, and Sales Account Managers to gather information necessary to conduct complaint investigations
Participate in risk management updates based on Complaint Handling data
May conduct trending of Complaint Handling data
Work with multi-functional teams (Ex: Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Field Service, and Sales) to identify root cause and drive resolution for complaints.
Track and meet Corporate, Divisional and Team Complaint Handling metrics
Contribute to RMA (room management): o Tracking of returned parts o Disinfection and organization of parts in the room
Handle inquires and data requests where appropriate from Sales Reps, Service Techs, Tech Support, Operations and Customer Care Must haves
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (this person will be interacting with multiple teams and will responsible for interfacing with customers, sales reps, and service technicians both internally and externally)
Root cause analysis/ troubleshooting
Technical writing The onboarding process, will be quite aggressive, candidates should be self-starters and should expect to start handling complaints and fulfilling the expectations of the job description after the first week of training. This role will give contractors exposure to working on quality issues across all medical division product lines.
