Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Program Manager for a 24 Month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

This position will support a key division with our client and 9 site locations in the planning and implementation of the new European Medical Device Regulation. Some travel will be required, at least one international trip possible.

This role will create a program-level project plan, including resource assessment and management, as well as ensure site project plans are created locally which feed into the program plan. This role will define key milestones and monitor these for status and risk as the project moves forward. Will assist with the creation of project charters, sharing of lessons learned and connecting subject matter experts across the sites, as needed. Will develop reports that will be presented to a variety of audiences, including Corporate and senior leadership at Medical. This role will also project manage one plan for three sites. So it is a program level and project level role in one. Although this is the primary role, there may be other tasks asked of this person, such as monthly tracking of other, smaller divisional project statuses with local site owners.

Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.

Skills

Bachelor s Degree Required
Project Planning software technical skills, including status reporting. PMP certification.
Ability to network and self-seek adjacent work partners for awareness to how this work fits into the broader plan and to help manage any competing priority project asks.
Excellent virtual conversation skills (e.G., Skype, Video conferencing) to maximize communication when in-person conversations are not possible.
Having worked for a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Company
Basic working knowledge of the regulatory requirements a must (21 CFR Part 820, 13485: 2016)
