Production Team Leader

Responsible for multiple lines of operation on one shift:

1.Develops and validates his team through training and assessment of

3.Implements and develops 5S standards through execution of regular 5S checks4. 4.Coordinates execution of 1st level TPM measures
5.Coordinates change overs
6.Daily continuous improvements by using lean tools like A3 Problem Solving, Bottle Neck Management & Muda Walk.
7.Generates and implements new improvement ideas together with the team
8.Steers production according to customer demand
9.Monitors and communicates the team s performance during the shift and shift handover
10.Reacts quickly to a team member call
11.Monitors the adherence of standards regularly (if at deviation: stops the process, optimizes and restores the standard). Monitors adherence through first piece setup confirmation as well as layered process, BDT, gage, and standard work audits.
12.Conducts team meetings and participates in shift handover of the prior shift. Leads the UPAS meeting.
13.Constantly supervises assigned team members during the shift including structuring and assignment of tasks, allocates employees according to level of training. Supports time and attendance management.
14.Ensures shift based documents and visualization according to BOSLE standards (e.G. Safety, quality, and quantity, creates countermeasures in case of deviation, ensures scrap escalation, manages scrap and NOK parts including, ensures correct use of MES and other systems/documents)
15.Ensures and improves safety (discusses near-misses and transmits the information) and ensures the compliance of standards
16.Introduces and monitors turn off / disconnection measures at production equipment to prevent errors and safety issues
17.Introduces measurements in order to optimize processes in cooperation with the Production Unit Leader, Shift Leader & other Team Leaders
18.Is able to operate all work stations of a production line to support employees and conducts training on the job
19.Coordinates with service departments in case of problems (Plant Engineers, Logistics, Quality Management, Facility Management, SHE)
20.Separates NOK parts and releases reworked parts (with key to release station); keeps non-conforming material in designated areas and follows established procedures for assembly
Associates degree preferred; 1+ years leading in a Manufacturing environment.
