In this role, you will be responsible for developing, scoping and leading component design changes in support of our clients Dryer Business. You will be involved in all areas of our business (manufacturing processes - painting, stamping, plastics, material flow, assembly, logistics, fabrication as well as interface with Marketing, Procurement, Suppliers, Approval Labs, and other technical staff). You will be part of our Engineering Team that is responsible for leading cost, quality, and maintenance of business changes to support our client s Dryer Business. You will work with all areas of the plant and various company functions to improve the design of our dryer components and manufacturing processes. Our vision is to be the best cost and quality dryer producer in the world.

Work on all deliverables needed to successfully deliver projects
Apply critical thought to work/projects/tasks
Complete technical tasks relating to project work (Cost/Benefit analysis, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Test Plans, Tolerance stacks, Drawing/Bill of Material changes, etc.)
Hold technical reviews to support project toll gates
Communicate to the project team and management on project status/next steps
Assist Engineering team in test unit builds, lab cleanup, staff meetings
Travel less than 10%

Must Have Skills

Bachelors of Science Degree In Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Technology Engineering Quality control
3+ years of work experience in component design and/or project management
Demonstrated project management skills
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills where problems are unusual and difficult
Manufacturing experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel skills); Google tools preferred
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

Desired Skills

3D Modeling (Creo, CAD) preferred
Knowledge of Professional Engineer software a plus
Demonstrated experience using statistical tools to drive decision making preferred
Strong understanding of Lean/World Class Manufacturing concepts preferred decision-making skills
