The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, troubleshooting, and improving electrical and electronic control systems for new and existing equipment.

Evaluate and improve machine safety conditions for plant personnel.
Initiate and implement repairs and improvements on line coverage.
Investigation of production and quality issues using problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
Research, test, and purchase parts and new equipment along with monitoring existing stock.
Planning and design of new projects regarding both in-house projects and new line startups.

BS in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
2-3 years engineering experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
3 years in the robotics field
Proficient in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming, ABB robot programming, automation interfaces, networking, and Microsoft applications.
Experience in reading and creating electrical schematics.
Ability to communicate on controls issues to non-controls experts.
Ability and willingness to effectively participate on teams

Speech Clarity - The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Must be able to stand on concrete for 8 hours.
Must be able to work in a high temperature environment and wear protective clothing.
Finger Dexterity - The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
Control Precision - The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine
