Job Description
Our client, a global manufacturer in the Battle Creek area, is actively looking for a senior level Industrial Engineer to join their team!
This position will have an emphasis on managing small to large scale capital equipment implementation projects.
Position will involve:
- Managing small to large scale capital equipment implementation projects
- Researching suppliers and gathering quotes on new machines and implementation/construction efforts needed to do so
- Coordinating with suppliers on delivery dates
- Managing & forecasting the budget surrounding any given project
- Strategize on how to bring in new machinery into the plant without disrupting existing daily production
- Developing and maintaining equipment PFMEAs
- Coordinating with manufacturing engineering team on plant layout and process flow to optimize efficiency
- Coordinate removal/relocation of existing equipment as needed
- Some travel required (15-20%)
Job Requirements
Must have:
- 3+yrs industrial/project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+yrs of project based capital equipment implementation experience
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
