Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests, including reviewing requirements and specifications and testing, support and training plans to ensure they are aligned with organizational priorities, business plans and objectives.
Provides a proactive interface between project stakeholders and senior management team to ensure complete and accurate definitions of business requirements and delivery of business applications.
Applies application development and project life cycle standards during project planning and execution.
Refines and implements project management methodologies, tools and practices to provide continuous process improvement.
Selects and manages project teams, including planning, assigning, scheduling, monitoring and reviewing project activities and evaluating individual performance upon project completion.
Participates in root cause analysis in order to recommend appropriate actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Develops, prepares, presents and maintains project plans, including staffing requirements, cost estimates, detailed budgets and work breakdown structures and schedules.
Performs project risk assessments, including identifying key risk factors, providing effective mitigation strategies and assigning contingency action plans to both schedules and budgets
Manages projects, including applying established methodologies, using change control templates and processes; managing time and recording activities using defined scheduling tools; monitoring budgets; coordinating resource acquisition and utilization; serving as a liaison with internal customers and external suppliers; and communicating regularly with project stakeholders.
Oversees project activities for assigned functional area(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved within required time frames and within budget.
Delivers systems on appropriate platforms in compliance with established technology standards, including monitoring testing, executing quality assurance checks and ensuring information technology acceptance criteria is met prior to implementation.
Performs project evaluations and participates in post-project quality monitoring
Supports assigned functional areas in the selection, approval, initiation and planning of new projects; including developing service level agreements for new systems.
Participates in business modeling sessions, including documenting, facilitating and/or serving as a subject matter expert.
Participates in vendor evaluation and selection, complying with purchasing policies and using established procurement procedures.
Assists with adding and retaining project services customers.
Functional, operational and technical requirements of all systems used by assigned functional areas.

Education: Bachelor' s degree completed in related field
