Job Description

An award-winning Financial Services client of iMPact Business Group is seeking a Liferay DXP Application Developer for a contracting role.  

This role is a work from home position, as such Candidates do need to match their work day to the Eastern time zone.

This position will work in a team oriented environment on a variety of systems with a focus on the Liferay platform.

An ideal Candidate is someone who - 

  • Focuses on solutions development
  • Effectively plans and prioritizes their work
  • Effectively Communicates with Business Customers and Technical Team Members
  • Has experience building web/cloud-based solutions for the Financial Services industry

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of Liferay development experience
  • Liferay DXP experience
  • Spring Boot 
  • Experience with JSON, AJA, SOA implementations, Rest/SOAP based Web Services, JUnit, Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • 3 years experience using Web Servers, Applications Servers, and Relational Databases
  • Experience in API security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and RAML or similar tools, preferred
  • Angular or Mobile Dev experience, preferred

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
