Job Description

Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a  Communications Specialist for a 6 Month Contract. Our client Global Security team is seeking to contract the services of an experienced internal communications professional to provide support in various internal program areas including the creation and delivery of a cohesive communications plan and materials (digital and printed) to their annual sales meetings in early 2025

 

 

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

 

  • Responsible for supporting the timely and effective communication to the program team 
  • Manage program level highlights communication
  • Manage program intranet and Yammer sites
  • Maintain team mailbox and calendar
  • Support workstream and live site communications
  • Assist in other communications activities as needed
  • Additional areas of support include general tasks to include creating, coordinating, and facilitating written and digital materials such as executive briefings, talking points, signage, and infographics for various program initiatives

Job Requirements

Education & Special Training: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, business, or related fields preferred 
  • Ability to communicate program information through internal communications strategy 
  • Problem solver with creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issues 
  • Execution-oriented, self-starter and self-navigator who can prioritize high-value projects versus tasks in a fast-paced environment and balance demands of multiple projects 
  • Very responsive, with a customer-centric/solutions-oriented approach and the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tailor communications style to audience 
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills 
  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
