Job Description
Our client, a global manufacturing company in the Caledonia area, is actively looking for an Engineering/Operations Manager to join their team!
Position Overview: The Engineering/Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, including capital equipment implementation, project management, product launch, and more. This is a hands-on position that requires a deep understanding of engineering and operations management in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of capital equipment projects to improve manufacturing processes and ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure the timely and effective launch of new products.
- Manage P&L responsibility for the manufacturing operations and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the engineering and operations teams to ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of engineering and/or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 7+ years of engineering or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing capital equipment implementation, project management, and product launch.
- Experience managing P&L responsibility for a manufacturing operation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
