Electronics Lab Technician
Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Consumer Appliance Industry has an immediate opening for a Electronics Lab Technician for a 9 Month Contract. Day to Day Duties:
In this position the Electronic Engineer Systems Integration (EESI) Technician will support the EESI System Integrators on day to day work, preparing product prototypes, developing advanced tools like load boxes for product simulation, performing development tests, support on root cause analysis, collecting and supporting data analysis and reporting out to the Systems Integration Engineer
- Able to perform tasks; read task produce and execute procedures
- Prepare tasks; instrumental tasks, instrument the project, prep for testing
- Root cause analyst; problem solving skills, experience
- Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities
- Design and construct basic test fixtures
- Improve and expand your technical skills
Must have skills:
- 3-5 Years in Electronics - Preference in Consumer Electrical Products / Systems.
- Solid understanding of electronics/basic electricity/ electrical circuits (120/240 VAC)
- Ability to use basic hand tools, lab equipment and solder
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate observations
Computer Knowledge:
- Basic Computer skills, Google Suite knowledge and experience a plus
Education:
Electrical Associates Degree preferred. Degree requirement is flexible based on candidates experience such as appliance repair, electrician, etc.
