ERP Project Manager

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Responsible for planning, mobilization, coordination, execution, delivery and reporting of a supporting project under the Global ERP Program as well as provide necessary support to the overall Global ERP Program PMO to ensure overall program success.
Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan defining project tasks and resource requirements
Coordinate and collaborate with all the ERP Global Program Project Managers and Solution Delivery Leads to ensure project dependencies are identified and managed in the project schedule and overall program schedule.
Proactive risk and issues management. Includes the identification, assessment, and prioritization of all project risks combined with the discipline to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of the identified risk.
Overall Management of the ERP Project issues and risks in a consolidated register aligned to the Program. Timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure program remains on track, on-time, on-budget, within defined scope.
Manage scope of project through change requests. Assess impact to scope, schedule and cost and communicate with key stakeholders. Strong adherence to scope control.
Create and maintain weekly metrics on the overall health of the ERP Project.
Liaise with resource managers to ensure resources are available to support the timelines within the project schedule
Monitor and report on project status, financials to all stakeholders weekly / in alignment with Program Execution status rollup.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Review and approve time cards associated with your project (if applicable)
Partner with the IS Governance team to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation including but not limited to computer systems validation, SOX, and PM standards.
Support program guiding principles; drive harmonized industry-best practice process across all divisions and geographies.
Education & special trainings:
Bachelor s degree required
PMP certification a plus
Qualifications & experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience is required
Prior experience delivering an ERP solution desired or major business-system solution preferred.
Ability to consider upstream and downstream scheduling and process impacts and implications
Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
Exhibits basic understanding of function area and end to end global business processes
Experienced in ERP Methodologies preferably both traditional waterfall as well more agile approaches
International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions preferred
Seen as a change agent
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
